CLARKS SUMMITT, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team bounced back from yesterday's defeat to Gwynedd Mercy with a 9-0 triumph over Baptist Bible this afternoon. The Mighty Macs are now 4-1 in CSAC play on the season.
Freshman
Lauren Degnan and senior
Julie Einwechter won 8-3 in the first doubles spot, sophomore
Kara Trowbridge and senior
Theresa Martini won 8-6 in second doubles and freshman
Annaliese Kambouroglos and junior
Pattie McGinley cruised 8-0 in third doubles.
The Mighty Macs lost only 10 games in sweeping the singles. Degnan won 6-2, 6-1 in first singles with Trowbridge winning 6-2, 6-0 in second singles.
Kambouroglos moved to 7-0 in her singles career with a 6-1, 6-0 win in the third spot. Martini won easily 6-0, 6-1 in fourth singles and Einwechter won 6-3, 6-0 in fifth singles.
Freshman
Jenna Fratterelli finished up the match 6-0, 6-0 in sixth singles.
Immaculata will host Penn State-Harrisburg on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 pm.
