CLERMONT, Fla. - Immaculata University's softball team closed out action in the NTC Spring Games on Wednesday with a split. After dropping a 12-0 five-inning loss to Augustana (Ill.) in the morning, the Mighty Macs came back to defeat Hanover (Ind.), 3-1.
In the opening-game loss,
Allison Zborowski went 2-for-3 to lead the offense for Immaculata (2-4).
Melissa Ejk and
Nicole Curcione each also registered hits for the Mighty Macs.
Curcione started in the circle for the Mighty Macs lasting two innings while allowing 11 runs on 11 hits.
Danielle Palmisano made her first pitching appearance of the year, tossing the final two innings allowing just one run off one hit.

Immaculata begins the home slate next Thursday, March 7, at 3 p.m. against Wesley.
