COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team travelled to Ursinus for their final road match of the season and came away with an 8-1 defeat at the hands of the Bears. Freshman

Pattie McGinley continued their dominance in the third doubles position with a 9-7 victory for the Mighty Macs (7-6, 5-2 CSAC).
Immaculata battled in their singles matches as two of them went to the third set, but Ursinus came away with all six singles points to claim the non-conference contest. Freshman
Lauren Degnan won the first set 6-4 in the first singles position, but after losing the second set, she lost the third set tie breaker 14-12.
In the third position, senior
Julie Einwechter lost the third set tie breaker 10-6 after winning the second set 7-5 to tie the match.
The Mighty Macs now play the final four matches of the season at home to close out the schedule. That starts on Wednesday when they host Bryn Mawr at 4 p.m.
