READING, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team dropped a non-conference matchup at Alvernia on Wednesday afternoon 7-2. The Mighty Macs (7-5, 5-2 CSAC) won one doubles match and one singles match to get to their two points.
Freshman Annaliese Kambourgolos and junior
Pattie McGinley won a tight doubles match 9-7 for the only doubles point for the Mighty Macs. As a pairing, the two of them are 5-1 on the season and McGinley is 9-3 in doubles competition.
In singles, freshman
Nicole Burley won 6-4, 7-5 in a tight fifth singles matchup.
In the fourth spot, Kambouroglos took the first loss of her career and is now 10-1 as a Mighty Mac.
Immaculata will stay out of conference for the rest of this week as they travel to Ursinus on Friday afternoon.
