IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team (8-8, 6-3 CSAC) fell on Saturday afternoon to Marywood (9-1, 8-1 CSAC) by a score of 7-2. The Mighty Macs have one match remaining with Cedar Crest next Saturday and with a victory, Immaculata would clinch their first playoff berth since 2005.
The Mighty Macs fell in all three doubles matches, and won two singles matches for their points on the day. Freshman
Annaliese Kambouroglos continued her strong rookie season with a 6-1, 6-4 victory in the fourth position. Senior
Julie Einwechter won in the fifth spot 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 to claim the other Immaculata victory.
The match with Cedar Crest will begin at 1 p.m. next Saturday and will be the final home match for seniors
