. - On the last day of the spring break trip to Myrtle Beach, Immaculata posted a 3-0 shutout win over Penn State Harrisburg before faltering 4-0 to Eastern. The split leaves the Mighty Macs with a 2-4 overall mark.

Immaculata starting the scoring in the top of the sixth when Nikki Curcione's RBI single plated Holly Schell to take a 1-0 lead.

The Mighty Macs tacked on two more runs in the seventh from Brittany Merkle and Beth Anne Kircher on a fielding error by the Lion's first baseman to notch the win.

Curcione (1-0) tossed a complete game shutout allowing four hits and one walk while striking out four.

In the second game, Eastern opened the scoring in the first inning with a single before tacking on three more in the third for the shutout. Schell finished with two hits while Danielle Palmisano, Allison Zborowski, Jenny Barnholt, and Julia Lamplugh each totaled a hit.

Immaculata is back in action on March 13 at Alvernia for a 3 p.m. doubleheader.
