IMMACULATA, Pa.- Senior forward Zena Tracey's goal at the 9:19 mark of the first overtime period awarded the Immaculata women's soccer team a 1-0 victory versus Washington College. The victory also marks the Mighty Macs's first win of the season.
Freshman Barbara Stanley's lead pass into the box set-up the decisive tally which ended almost 90 minutes of scoreless play.
The Shorewomen (0-2) out-shot the Mighty Macs for the contest 15-5. Gabby Devaud led the Washington charge with five shots. Both teams tied with three corner kicks each.
Immaculata freshman netminder Dana Disney earned her first win of her career tallying six saves. Classmate Meghan McCurnin amassed four saves in the first half.
Immaculata returns to the road on Wednesday, September 14 at Penn State Harrisburg for a 6 p.m. game.
