READING, Pa. – Albright College edged out Immaculata University women's tennis on Wednesday afternoon with a 5-4 win in the non-conference match.

The Mighty Macs (1-3) claimed points at second doubles as Pattie McGinley and Molly Greco defeated Melissa Carberry and Christina Peacock, 8-5. Immaculata also won its matches as third, fourth and fifth singles. Greco was a 6-2, 6-0 winner against Carberry at No. 3. Olivia Kauffman won her match at No. 4 opposite Peacock in three sets, 1-6, 6-3, 10-5, and McGinley made 6-2, 6-1 work of Ligeia Evans at No. 5 singles.

Albright picked up its first win of the season to start the year 1-0.

Immaculata heads to Gwynedd-Mercy on Friday for a 4 p.m. match with the Griffins.
