Immaculata, Pa.- Immaculata University softball swept Cedar Crest in a conference double header 12-1 and 10-6 on Saturday afternoon.
Immaculata improves to 6-6 overall and 3-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference while Cedar Crest falls 4-9 and 3-2 respectively.

Holly Schell went 2-for-3 scoring three runs apiece to lead the Mighty Macs at the plate. Allison Zbrowski also tallied two hits and two RBI for the victory.
The Mighty Macs exploded with six runs scored in the first and three scored in the third to take a 9-0 lead. Cedar Crest scored its only run in the fourth inning to account for all its runs in game one.
Megan Fitzgerald (2-2) went the distance in the circle for Immaculata, scattering two hits and striking out six.
In game two, the Mighty Macs collected 12 hits as Immaculata quickly distanced itself from Cedar Crest by scoring four runs in the first and second innings. The Falcons got on the scoreboard with three runs scored in the first but Immaculata kept the game out of reach scoring a single run in the third and fifth.
Schell went 2-for-5 at the plate, scoring two runs and one RBI.
Danielle Palmisano,
Sara Holleran, and Bozetto also scored two runs each while Palmisano finished with a team-high three RBI.
Palmisano pitched all seven innings as she earned the win for Immaculata. She allowed six earned runs on nine hits.
