Baptist Bible Edges Women's Tennis, 5-4

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. - Baptist Bible College edged out Immaculata University's women's tennis team on Saturday afternoon, 5-4, for a win in the Colonial States Athletic Conference match.

Immaculata (1-11, 1-7 CSAC) trailed Baptist Bible (6-8, 4-3 CSAC) 2-1 after doubles action. The Mighty Macs' No. 3 doubles tandem of Pattie McGinley and Paige Sparks defeated Rachel Paris and Chi Boggs, 8-2, to pick up the first point of the match for Immaculata.

The Mighty Macs went on to claim victories at the final three spots of the singles lineup. Molly Greco defeated Baptist Bible's Dahlia Orth, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 4 singles. Olivia Kauffman won at No. 5 singles for the Mighty Macs, 8-6, defeating Cassie LaBaw, and McGinley captured the win at No. 6 singles against Sharayah McMindes, 6-1, 6-1.

Immaculata hosts Penn State Harrisburg on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in the final non-conference match of the season.
