Women's Tennis Falls To Neumann, 6-3

IMMACULATA, Pa.
– The Immaculata University women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 Colonial States Athletic Conference match to Neumann University on Friday afternoon.
 
Immaculata (1-10, 1-6 CSAC) won at No. 3 doubles and picked up victories at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions.
 
The pair of Pattie McGinley and Olivia Kauffman teamed up for an 8-1 win against Neumann's Chyann Howard and Cherie Allen at No. 3 doubles.
 
Molly Greco, playing No. 5 singles for the Mighty Macs, earned a straight-set sweep against Howard, 6-0, 6-0. McGinley picked up her second win of the afternoon as she again defeated Allen, this time at the sixth singles spot, 6-1, 6-1.
 
Neumann improves to 4-5 overall and 4-3 in CSAC play.
 
Immaculata is back in action on Saturday heading to Baptist Bible for a 1 p.m. match.
