Women's Tennis Drops Non-League Match To Ursinus

IMMACULATA, Pa.
– Immaculata University's women's tennis team fell in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon to visiting Ursinus College, 8-1.
 
Theresa Martini picked up her fifth singles win this season as she won a third-set tiebreaker No. 2 singles against the Bears' Audrey Whitebloom, 2-6, 6-4, 10-6.
 
In other singles action, Molly Greco dropped her match at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-3, to Jamie Dumler. Julie Einwechter fell at No. 3 singles to Heather McMasters, 6-0, 6-3, while Olivia Kauffman was defeated by Sydney Dodson-Nease at No. 6 singles, 6-3, 6-0. Felicia Thomas and Paige Sparks both fell by 6-0, 6-1 margins in their matches at No. 1 and 4, respectively.
 
Ursinus (1-0) began the match winning all three doubles matches.
 
Immaculata (1-9, 1-5 CSAC) hosts Neumann on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. in a league match.
