IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball team swept Notre Dame of Maryland University on Thursday evening, 3-0, by winning the match on set scores of 25-10, 25-17 and 25-16.
Immaculata evens it record at 8-8 overall and 3-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference while Notre Dame slips to 3-14, 1-6 in the CSAC.
Tamara Dabady led the Mighty Macs with seven kills and a .500 hitting percentage with zero errors on 14 attacks.
Lindsey Silvestro added five kills, three total blocks and three service aces, and
Haley Swearer also recorded five kills.
Immaculata setter
Kathleen Haefner registered 25 assists and served up a team-leading four aces.
Brooke Schreffler led the squad with 21 digs.
Notre Dame had 10 kills from Marylu Ortiz, and Helaine Caldwell made 12 digs for the Gators.
Immaculata returns home on Saturday for an 11 a.m. first serve with Rosemont College.
