IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's women's tennis team was handed a 9-0 Colonial States Athletic Conference loss by league-leader Gwynedd-Mercy College on Wednesday afternoon.

Immaculata's third doubles team of Olivia Kauffman and Elizabeth Strauch fell to Chelsea Jones and Cori Wessner, 8-1. The Griffins swept the doubles points with 8-0 wins at the first and second positions.

Immaculata's third singles' player Julie Einwechter took games from each set off Chelsea Donde but lost the match, 6-2, 6-1.

Gwynedd-Mercy stays undefeated at 4-0 overall and in the CSAC. Immaculata is now 1-5, 0-4 CSAC.

Immaculata will be at Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 12 p.m.
