IMMACULATA, Pa.
- A pair if six-run innings in each game keyed the Immaculata University softball team to the doubleheader sweep of Penn State Harrisburg on a cold and damp Tuesday afternoon.

In the opener, despite two runs in the top of the first by Penn State Harrisburg, Immaculata put up six runs in the bottom of the second to take a lead it would not relinquish. The Mighty Macs had just four hits in the inning and all six of their runs were unearned. Holly Schell had a RBI double and Katie Schreck, Jackie Finkbohner and Allison Zborowski all had RBI singles.

The Lady Lions (6-21) scored three runs in the top of the third, cutting the score to just 6-5 in favor of the Mighty Macs. However, when it was Immaculata's turn at the plate, the Mighty Macs pushed two more runs across to extend their margin to 8-5. Sarah Holleran's single through the middle scored both runners.

Immaculata (7-10) scored two more runs in the fourth and once the third run crossed the plate in the fifth, the game was called. Holleran began the fifth with a single, and scored on Finkbohner's RBI single to right field. Zborowski then hit a double to center that brought both Becky Schaefer and Finkbohner home for the five-inning victory.

Immaculata started the game with two runs in the bottom half of the first as Mindy Monastra hit a RBI triple down the right field line that scored Finkbohner, and Holleran singled through the left side to score Monastra.

The Mighty Macs tacked on a solo run in the second as Monastra hit a RBI double scoring Schell.

Immaculata had its big six-run inning in the bottom of the third to lead 9-0. With the bases load, Schaefer hit a RBI single to score Julia Lamplugh. Schell then hit a RBI single to right field, scoring Zborowski. Finkbohner then reached on a fielder's choice as Schreck came home. Monastra had a sacrifice fly to center that brought Schaefer. Holleran and Lamplugh then followed each other with RBI singles.

Monastra went 2-for-2 with three RBI and a run scored, while Schell and Holleran each totaled two hits.
