ASTON, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's basketball team dropped its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opener on Monday night at Neumann University, 70-54.
Immaculata slips to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the CSAC. Neumann evens its mark at 2-2, 1-0 in the league.
Nelson Torres led the Mighty Macs in both scoring and rebounding with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Raheem Roher chipped in nine points while
Darnell Malabet finished with seven points and five rebounds.
Neumann was led by Marguise Boggs' 16 points. Patrick O'Conner and Bill Slade each posted 14 points, while Mark Blount grabbed a game-high nine rebounds for the Knights.
Immaculata trailed 37-25 at halftime.
Immaculata opens the home schedule on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. inside Alumnae Hall hosting Keystone College in CSAC action.
