IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball squad dropped its home finale against the College of Notre Dame on Thursday night, 3-1. The Gators won the match by scores of 27-25, 25-19, 22-25 and 25-22.

Immaculata now sits at 5-19 overall and 3-7 in the CSAC. Notre Dame upped its mark to 17-10 overall and 6-4 in league action.

The Mighty Macs fought the Gators to the very end, coming back to take late leads in the first and fourth set before Notre Dame outlasted Immaculata to hold on for the four-set victory.

Lindsey Silvestro led the Mighty Macs with 15 kills. Allison Lang finished with eight kills and eight digs.  Four Immaculata players finished in double-digits in digs with Brooke Schreffler leading the way with 16. Nicole Preziuso finished with 13 while Courtney Sahm and Kathleen Haefner each finished with 11 digs each.  Haefner also racked up 22 assists.

The Mighty Macs wrap up their season on the road against Marywood on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
