Immaculata Falls Against Cedar Crest, 9-0

IMMACULATA, Pa.
- Immaculata University's women's tennis team lost a Colonial States Athletic Conference match to Cedar Crest College, 9-0, Thursday afternoon at the Immaculata Tennis Courts.

Immaculata's (0-8, 0-4 CSAC) sixth singles player Renae Padamonsky dropped her opening set to Cassandra Bejar, 6-1, but fought back to force the second set into a tie-breaker, which Padamonsky eventually dropped, 7-4. Immaculata's top four singles players each took one game during their match from Cedar Crest.

Cedar Crest (8-2, 5-0 CSAC) won all three doubles matches, as Padamonsky and Kelsey Piliero lasted the longest as they forced their match at the third position against Amy Dichter and Sara Messner to 8-4. Amanda Dahlquist and Erika LaMarch fell at No. 1 doubles, 8-1, to Maria Mallery and Alexandria Kuebler.

Immaculata will be at Gwynedd-Mercy on Saturday, Sept. 26, where first serve is set for 1 p.m.
