IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata fell to visiting Marywood, 9-0, in a Colonial States Athletic Conference women's tennis match Tuesday afternoon.
Immaculata drops to 0-5 overall and 0-2 in the CSAC while Marywood picked up its first victory of the season to up its mark to 1-5 overall, 1-2 CSAC.
Erika LaMarch, playing at No. 1 singles, won the first set against Ashley Karli 7-5, but then dropped the second set, 6-1, and lost the tie-breaker, 10-4.
Kelsey Piliero dropped her match at No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-1 while
Amanda Dahlquist fell 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
Felicia Thomas lost a 6-3, 6-1 decision at fourth singles to Kellie Coleman, and
Renae Padamonsky fell to Kristin Guba at the No. 5 spot, 6-2, 6-1.
In doubles action, LaMarch and Dahlquist dropped their match at the No. 1 spot, 8-4, and Piliero and Thomas lost, 8-2, at second doubles.
Immaculata returns to the court looking to earn its first CSAC win against Philadelphia Biblical on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 4 p.m.
