Volleyball Wins League Opener Against Notre Dame, 3-0

BALTIMORE, Md. - Immaculata's volleyball squad won its Colonial States Athletic Conference opener Tuesday night as the visiting Mighty Macs defeated the College of Notre Dame, 3-0. Immaculata won the match after putting up set scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-20.

Immaculata is now 1-5 overall and 1-0 in the CSAC while Notre Dame falls to 2-5, 0-1 CSAC.

Senior Jayme Lenosky led the Mighty Macs with a season-high 11 kills and she also held team-high honors with six digs. Courtney Sahm was second on the team with six kills and also made six digs. Kathleen Haefner recorded 24 assists and led Immaculata with three total blocks for the match.

Catherine Subrizi led the Gators' with a match-high 14 kills while Christina Kudran had 25 assists.

Immaculata looks to continue itswinning streak when its hosts Penn State Harrisburg on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
