Game 1 Box Score
Game 2 Box Score

IMMACULATA, Pa.
- Immaculata managed a combined 11 hits, dropping both ends of a Colonial States Athletic Conference softball doubleheader to Centenary, 13-5 and 11-1 in five innings, Tuesday afternoon.

Centenary scored seven runs in the first two innings. Valerie Rutt-Guerriere singled home Melissa Fetter and Melinda Monastra, and then Jackie Finkbohner doubled to score Megan Gallagher and Sara Holleran in the bottom half of the second inning for the Mighty Macs. That cut the deficit to 7-4. However, the Lady Cyclones responded with two more insurance runs in third and four more in the fourth to put the game away.

Monastra had a two-out triple in the fifth and scored as Fetter doubled right behind her, but that was all the run Immaculata could produce.

Rutt-Guerriere (1-8) lasted five innings and allowed 13 runs, only 10 of them earned, on 14 hits and walked five. Sarah Olsen (4-4) went the distance in the circle for Centenary, allowing five runs, all earned, scattering six hits and striking out six.

In the nightcap, Monastra led Immaculata with two hits while three different Mighty Macs mustered one hit, as Centenary held Immaculata to just one run in the fourth inning. As the story went in the first game, Monastra led off the inning with a triple and Fetter drove her home with a double.

The Lady Cyclones jumped on Mighty Macs' ace Fetter early with five runs in the first inning. The visitors  tacked on one run in each the second and fourth, and two runs in the third and fifth innings.

Fetter (3-6) pitched the entire game, allowing seven earned runs on 11 hits in five innings of work. She walked seven and struck out three.

Immaculata travels to Philadelphia Biblical University Friday afternoon. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 3 p.m.
