IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata University dropped both games of a non-league softball doubleheader at home against Ursinus College Monday afternoon.

Immaculata (2-12) received four hits in game one from four different players and five hits in game two from five different batters. Valerie Rutt-Guerriere and Sara Holleran each went a combined 2-for-5 in the doubleheader. Ursinus (9-5) took game one, 22-0, and game two, 8-0.

Melissa Fetter (2-5) went the distance in game two, allowing eight runs on 10 hits. Only three of those runs were earned. She walked three and struck out three.

Rutt-Guerriere lost game one. She allowed six earned runs in the five-inning contest.

Immaculata returns to the league slate on Friday when it travels to Gwynedd-Mercy at 3 p.m.
