Immaculata Men Fall At Neumann, 68-47

ASTON, Pa. – The Immaculata University men's basketball team fell to host Neumann College, 68-47, Thursday night in Colonial States Athletic Conference action at the Bruder Gymnasium.

Immaculata (7-15, 5-8 CSAC) was paced by Kyle Finklea's 13 points and six rebounds. Julius Lopez added 12 points while John Boyd chipped in 10.

The first half was a low-scoring affair that produced five ties and four lead changes. Immaculata held its largest advantage of the contest at the 14:46 mark after the Mighty Macs began the contest on a 7-2 run.

The Knights (10-13, 6-8) then got the hot hand and went on an 8-0 spurt to take a 10-7 lead with 10:33 left in the opening half.

Finklea tied the contest for the fifth and final time at 16-all with a jumper with 1:33 left before halftime. However, the Knights ended the half on a 5-0 run to lead 21-16 at the break.

Eli Hitchens scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for host Neumann.

Immaculata will be back in action on Saturday against Keystone College at Alumnae Hall at 3 p.m.
