Women's Tennis Falls At Cabrini, 8-1

RADNOR, Pa. – The Immaculata women's tennis dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match 8-1 to Cabrini Tuesday afternoon at the Dixon Courts.

Renae Padamonsky picked up the point for the Mighty Macs with her 8-3 victory against Melizza Kahn at sixth singles.

In other singles action, Erika LaMarch was downed by Alexis DiCamillo, 6-3, 6-1, at the lead-off position, while the Cavaliers' Michelle Lettmann logged a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 2 spot against Kelsey Piliero. Gabriela Durand notched a straight-set win, 6-0, 6-0, the No. 3 position against Amanda Dahlquist. Felicia Thomas lost to Kourtney Spak to a third-set tiebreaker, 6-3, 3-6, 10-5, at the No. 4 spot, and Bridget Killen posted an 8-4 victory at the No. 5 position versus Kaitlyn O'Donnell.

The Cavaliers (4-10, 4-5 CSAC) swept the doubles matches, as DiCamillo and Durand won 8-0 at the No. 1 position against LaMarch and Thomas. Dahlquist and O'Donell were taken down at second doubles 8-2 by Lettmann and Spak. Lastly, Brittany Foster and Padamonsky fell at the No. 3 position to Killen and Kahn, 8-1.

Immaculata (1-11, 1-7 CSAC) plays its last non-conference match of the season Wednesday, Oct. 7, on the road against Penn State Berks at 3:30 p.m.
