Immaculata Men Cruise Past Philadelphia Biblical, 81-51

LANGHORNE, Pa.Julius Lopez scored a game-high 22 points and John Boyd added 16 off the bench as Immaculata downed Philadelphia Biblical University, 81-51, Monday evening in a Colonial States Athletic Conference men's basketball game.

Immaculata (4-5, 2-1) shot 65.5 percent from the field in the first half to take a 20-point advantage at halftime. Philadelphia Bible (1-9, 0-3) struggled from the field, shooting 37.5 percent over the first 20 minutes and finished 32.8 from the floor.

The Mighty Macs put three players in double figures with Kyle Finklea adding 13 points on the evening. Jeff DeSantis and Sean Fordham each added eight points for Immaculata.

Philadelphia Biblical was led by Tom Arthur's 22 points and 13 rebounds. Mike Phillips added nine points for the hosts.

Immaculata never trailed in the contest and led by as many as 34 late in the second half.

Immaculata returns to action tomorrow night, Jan. 13, traveling to Keystone for a 7 p.m. tip.
