Albright Just Gets By Immaculata, 5-4

READING, Pa. - Albright barely overcame Immaculata, 5-4, on Thursday afternoon in a non-league women's tennis match. Immaculata slips to 0-6 for the season, and Albright picks up its first victory to improve to 1-2.

Erika LaMarch and Felicia Thomas were double-winners on the afternoon, as the tandem won their No. 2 doubles match, 8-6, against Lisa Archibald and Ashley Woodcock. LaMarch, playing at third singles, downed Stacy Brampton, 6-0, 6-4, while Thomas again upended Woodcock ut this time at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-1.

Immaculata's other point of the match came at No. 1 singles as Margaret Kelley defeated Marisa Cooperman, 6-0, 6-4.

Immaculata returns to league play on Saturday hosting Baptist Bible College at 1 p.m.
