Immaculata Edges Neumann, 63-62

ASTON, Pa.  – The Immaculata University's men's basketball team defeated Neumann College, 63-62, to remain in first place in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference. The Mighty Macs improve to 15-5 overall and 10-1 in the PAC, while the Knights fall to 8-12, 6-6 PAC.

Jayson Hyman registered a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Dan Lepone added 14 points and Kyle Finklea chipped in 13 points. Rob Jones led the Mighty Macs on the glass, pulling down 11 boards.

Eli Hitchens was the only Neumann player in double figures with 16 points and five rebounds. James Swiggett tallied nine points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Immaculata returns home on Saturday, Feb. 9, when it squares off against Gwynedd-Mercy College. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m.
