- Immaculata's women's tennis team fell to visiting Cabrini, 9-0, in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Thursday afternoon.
The Mighty Macs slip to 1-11 overall and 1-5 in the CSAC. The Cavaliers kept their league record unblemished as they improved to 5-0 and 10-2 overall with the sweep. Cabrini has earned 9-0 sweeps during each of its five league victories. 
Margaret Kelley lost 6-1, 6-0 to Dina DiTaranto at No. 1 singles, while Amanda Wilson dropped straight 6-0 sets to Christine Telling at No. 2 singles. Erika L. LaMarch fell 6-0, 6-0 to Nicole Pontious at third singles, and Felicia Thomas dropped a 6-2, 6-0 decision to Stephanie Tighe at fourth singles. Kristen East and Katherine Boyle rounded out the Mighty Macs lineup at No. 5 and 6 singles, respectively, both dropping 6-0, 6-0 sets to Alexis DiCamillo and Michelle Lettman, respectively.
In doubles action, the duo of Kelley and Wilson lost 8-1 to the tandem of DiTaranto and Telling at No. 1 doubles. Thomas and LaMarch lost to Pontious and Tighe, 8-2, at No. 2 doubles, and East and Boyle fell 8-0 at third doubles to DiCamillo and Lettmann. 
The Mighty Macs return to action on Saturday, October 4, when they travel to Marywood. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
