Immaculata University women's tennis team fell to Cedar Crest College 9-0, in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday, September 29, in Immaculata, PA.
Freshman Megan Essick lost 0-6, 6-4, 6-4 to Maria Mallery at #1 singles, while junior Amanda Wilson dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision to Laura Shively at #2 singles.  Junior Erika L. LaMarch fell 7-6 (7-1), 6-1 Sarah Schopf at #5 singles.
In doubles action, the duo of Essick and Wilson lost 8-1 to the team of Colleen Ford and Shively at #1 doubles.
The Mighty Macs (2-7, 0-4 PAC) return to action on Thursday, October 4, when they travel to face Gwynedd-Mercy College.  First serve is set for 4 pm.
