Mighty Macs Fall To Marywood

Immaculata University softball team fell to Marywood University 16-10 and 10-8 in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday, April 14, in Immaculata, PA. The Mighty Macs fall to 3-14-1 overall and 3-11 in the PAC.

In game one, sophomore Missy Fetter went 2-4 with one RBI and two runs scored, while freshman Jackie Finkbohner and sophomore Jackie Mullineaux collected two RBI apiece. Finkbohner also added a double. Freshman Carol Mastronate amassed two RBI and one run scored.

Fetter allowed eight runs - three earned - in three innings to suffer the loss, while sophomore Val Rult-Guerriere allowed three runs - one earned - in one inning and freshman Tabitha Kerr allowed five runs - three earned - in three innings of relief.

Megan Haikes went 3-4 with two runs scored for the Pacers, while Colleen Regan amassed two hits, three runs scored and two RBI.

In game two, Guerriere went 3-4 with four RBI and two runs scored, while Mastrosante went 3-4 with one RBI. Sophomore Missy Hopely, Finkbohner and Mullineaux each registered two hits, while Mullineaux added two RBI.

Fetter allowed 10 earned runs in seven innings to suffer the loss, while Ashley Williams scattered eight runs and struck out two to earn the win.

Williams also went 3-4 with three RBI, while Nicole Carroll collected two hits, two runs scored and three RBI.
