Mighty Macs Fall At Arcadia

Immaculata University fell to Arcadia University 70-56, in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Thursday, February 1, in Glenside, PA.

Junior Robert Jones amassed 15 points, six rebounds and three assists, while senior Kris Behm registered nine points. Freshman Scott Marston collected eight points and two blocks, while fellow freshman Chris Christopher amassed four points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

The Mighty Macs (7-12, 7-5 PAC) jumped out to a 10-5 lead at 13:19 of the first half, but the Knights used a 21-7 run to grab a 26-17 lead at 1:32. Arcadia took a 28-23 lead into intermission.

Immaculata was able to tie the game at 30-30 with 16:09 left in the second half, but the Knights broke the tie and posted a 36-30 lead with 14:40 remaining. However, the Mighty Macs pulled to within two, 52-50, off a field goal by Kris Behm at 5:42. But Arcadia used an 18-6 run to close the game and post the 70-56 victory.

Dave Boettcher collected a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Knights (9-11, 7-6 PAC).
