Immaculata University women's basketball fell to College Misericordia 76-65, in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) on Monday, January 15, in Immaculata, PA.
Senior Meg Legere collected her third straight double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Legere has now moved into 14th-place on the all-scoring list at Immaculata with 1,055 career points. She surpassed Mary Tipping (1,039) and Maria McLaughlin (1,047). Legere is 54 points shy of tying Shelia Johnson (1,111) for 13th all-time.
Senior Mary Kate Pawlowski recorded a double-double with a 14-point, 12-rebound performance. Her 12 rebounds are a career high. Junior Nina Cammarano added 12 points on 4-8 from beyond the arc.
Ericka Morrison paced the Cougars (7-7, 4-2 PAC) with 18 points, while Megan Yhlen amassed 15 points and eight rebounds.
The Mighty Macs (6-7, 2-3) return to action on Thursday, January 15, when they face Eastern University. Tip-off is set for 6 pm.
