Playing for the first time since December 7, Immaculata University fell to DeSales University 73-68, in the opening game of the Casa Mia Holiday Tournament on Friday, January 5, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. The tournament is being hosted by DeSales.
Sophomore Kyle Finklea amassed a season-high 27 points and added eight rebounds and two blocks, while freshman Scott Marston recorded 16 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Sophomore Julius Lopez registered 13 points, while senior Kris Behm collected five steals in the loss.
Phil Stricker paced the DeSales (9-2) with a game-high 31 points.
The Mighty Macs (1-8) return to action on Saturday, January 6, and will face St. Mary's College. Tip-off is set for 2 pm.
