Freshman forward Leah Kuczynski from the Immaculata women's basketball team was selected as the Mighty Mac of the Week for the week ending January 17.

Kuczynski recorded two double-doubles to help Immaculata to a 2-0 overall and 1-0 CSAC mark last week with wins over Philadelphia Biblical and Penn State Brandywine. Kuczynski had game highs with both 22 points and 12 rebounds in the Mighty Macs' 77-47 win on the road against PBU. She followed that performance up with a 25 point and 20 rebound effort against PSU Brandywine. Kuczynski's 20-20 performance was the first for an Immaculata player since December 2, 2006 when Dominique Murray accomplished the feat against Alvernia. Kuczynski also recorded five blocked shots against the Lady Lions.
