Women's basketball senior guard Bridget Welz was selected as the Mighty Mac of the Week on Monday, December 5, following also receiving CSAC Player of the Week honors,
Welz led the Mighty Macs to a perfect 3-0 week, averaging 16.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 5.0 steals, while going a perfect 7-for-7 from the foul line.
In Immaculata's 93-65 win over Cedar Crest on Monday, she totaled 12 points while adding six rebounds, six steals and six assists. In an 81-58 triumph over Rosemont, Welz posted 14 points, six assists and seven steals, before she wrapped up the week with 22 points in a 78-66 win over previously unbeaten Centenary.
