Brittany Merkle led the Mighty Macs to two big road victories over potential CSAC playoff opponents this past week. She was tops on the team with 21.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 53% from the field (16-for-30). On Wednesday in the 81-51 win over Keystone, she had a team and season-high 22 points while grabbing 10 boards for her fifth double-double of the season. In the team's come-from-behind 71-63 win over Marywood on Saturday, Merkle helped the team erase a 14-point second half deficit with 20 points and seven rebounds. It was the first time in her career she has scored 20-plus points in back-to-back games.  This is the second time this season Merkle has been named Mighty Mac of the Week.
