Immaculata track and field's Angel Chimal Rodriguez was honored as the Mighty Mac of the Week on March 24.

The sophomore won the 1,500-meters race at the Golden Ram Invitational Saturday afternoon to highlight the Immaculata men's track & field team's appearance at the event. It marked the third time in his career that he has finished in first during the event.
 
Rodriguez beat a 27-man field with a time of 4:07.61, almost two seconds better than his closest competitor to take the title.
