IMMACULATA, Pa. – The fall season continues to roll along for Immaculata University Athletics as the Mighty Macs prepare for another busy week of competition. Six fall programs will combine for 11 contests from Monday through Saturday, highlighted by a pair of men's soccer and women's soccer home/road contests, two field hockey road games, three women's volleyball matches, and the second matches for both men's and women's tennis.

Monday, September 21

⚽ Women's Soccer at Delaware Valley University
4 p.m. | Doylestown, Pa.
Women's soccer opens the week on the road when the Mighty Macs travel to Delaware Valley University for a 4 p.m. non-conference matchup. Immaculata enters the contest having won three straight, including Saturday's 7-2 victory at Cedar Crest.

Tuesday, September 22

🏐 Women's Volleyball vs. Moravian University
6 p.m. | Alumnae Hall | Hispanic Heritage Night
Women's volleyball returns home Tuesday evening when the Mighty Macs welcome Moravian University to Alumnae Hall for a 6 p.m. matchup. The contest will also serve as Immaculata's Hispanic Heritage Night.

Wednesday, September 23

🏑 Field Hockey at Delaware Valley University
4 p.m. | Doylestown, Pa.
Field hockey continues its road swing Wednesday afternoon with a 4 p.m. matchup at Delaware Valley University.

⚽ Women's Soccer vs. DeSales University
6 p.m. | Draper Walsh Stadium
Women's soccer returns home Wednesday evening to host DeSales University at 6 p.m. The Mighty Macs will be playing their second contest of the week.

Men's tennis returns to action Saturday at York College of Pennsylvania for a noon match.

🎾 Women's Tennis at York College of Pennsylvania

THE WEEK IN REVIEW
The Mighty Macs competed in 12 contests across six fall programs from September 14-19, highlighted by a three-game winning streak from women's soccer and strong individual performances in volleyball, cross country and tennis.

Women's Soccer Rolls to Three Straight

Women's soccer continued its impressive September run by going 2-0 during the week, extending its winning streak to three games.

The Mighty Macs opened the week Wednesday with a 2-1 road victory at Widener University. Gracie Repici opened the scoring with a long-range strike before Flora Hernandez scored her first collegiate goal in the second half. Widener scored late, but Immaculata held on for the victory.

Immaculata followed with an offensive explosion Saturday morning, defeating Cedar Crest 7-2.

Repici enjoyed the first multi-goal game of her career, scoring twice and adding an assist. Lily McGee also recorded the first multi-goal game of her career with two goals. Addison Yackel, Flora Hernandez and Heather Russell also found the net, while Emma Sobieski contributed two assists.

The Mighty Macs finished with a 31-7 advantage in shots and outshot Cedar Crest 19-0 in the second half.

Weekly Record: 2-0

Field Hockey Faces Two Road Setbacks

Field hockey played twice during the week, dropping both contests.

The Mighty Macs battled Bryn Mawr through a scoreless first half at Draper Walsh Stadium Wednesday before the Owls pulled away in the second half for a 6-0 victory. Mackenzie Schrack made 12 saves in 45 minutes of action.

Immaculata then traveled to Lebanon Valley Saturday and fell 5-0. Immaculata held LVC scoreless in the second half of the game. Schrack made eight saves in 30 minutes of play.


Men's Soccer Battles on the Road

Men's soccer also played twice on the road.

Immaculata fell 6-1 at Alvernia Wednesday, with Milan Kosiba converting a penalty kick for the Mighty Macs.

The Mighty Macs then battled Susquehanna Saturday, with Carlos Garcia scoring in the 52nd minute off an assist from Kyle Coleman to tie the game at 1-1. Susquehanna ultimately scored in the 69th minute to earn a 2-1 victory.

Volleyball Battles Through Four Matches

Women's volleyball played four matches during the week, including two home contests and the Ursinus Tri-Match.

The Mighty Macs opened the week with a 3-0 loss to Arcadia before falling 3-0 to Lebanon Valley at Alumnae Hall.

At Saturday's Ursinus Tri-Match, Immaculata battled Cedar Crest through four sets before falling 3-1. The Mighty Macs opened the match with a pair of strong sets, but Cedar Crest rallied to win the final two sets.

Madi Kyle led Immaculata with 12 kills and eight digs, while Angelica Santini Bulerin recorded 15 assists and 10 digs. Eliana Szatkowski and Sophia Banach each added six kills.

Tara Hirschtritt added 12 assists, nine digs and three service aces, while Adriana Ventura contributed 11 digs and two service aces.
Immaculata then closed the day against host Ursinus, falling 3-1.

Kyle again led the Mighty Macs with 14 kills, hitting .235 while adding nine digs. Tara Hirschtritt delivered a strong all-around performance with 10 kills, three service aces and 13.5 points. Santini Bulerin recorded 26 assists and nine digs, while Ventura led the Mighty Macs with 13 digs.

Men's Tennis Opens Season Against Eastern

Men's tennis opened its 2026-27 season Saturday against Eastern University, falling 4-1.

Easton Ragno provided the Mighty Macs' lone singles victory, defeating Jared Groff in a third-set tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets, 7-5, 4-6, 10-7.

The Mighty Macs return to action Saturday, September 26 at York College of Pennsylvania.

Women's Tennis Opens Season With 4-3 Setback

Women's tennis also opened its season on Saturday against Eastern University, falling 4-3.

Immaculata earned singles victories from Sophia Carey and Ashley Batejan. Carey posted a dominant 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles, while Batejan cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 4.

The Mighty Macs also earned a doubles victory at No. 1, where Hailey Elwell and Sophia Carey defeated Eastern's Mary Brusstar and Delaney Stryd, 6-3.

Elwell also battled Brusstar at No. 1 singles, ultimately falling in a third-set tiebreak, 6-3, 5-7, 10-8.

Women's tennis returns to action Saturday, September 26 at York College of Pennsylvania.
 
STANDOUT PERFORMERS

⚽ Gracie Repici — Women's Soccer
Repici scored in both Immaculata victories, netting the first goal at Widener before adding two goals and an assist against Cedar Crest. She finished the week with three goals and one assist.

⚽ Lily McGee — Women's Soccer
McGee recorded the first multi-goal game of her collegiate career against Cedar Crest, scoring twice during Immaculata's seven-goal offensive performance.

🏐 Madi Kyle — Women's Volleyball
Kyle led the Mighty Macs in both matches Saturday, recording 12 kills against Cedar Crest and 14 kills against Ursinus. She finished the Ursinus match with a .235 hitting percentage and nine digs.

🏐 Tara Hirschtritt — Women's Volleyball
Hirschtritt produced a strong all-around performance against Ursinus with 10 kills, three service aces, and 13.5 points. She also contributed 12 assists and nine digs against Cedar Crest.

🏐 Angelica Santini Bulerin — Women's Volleyball
Santini Bulerin orchestrated the Mighty Mac offense throughout the tri-match, recording 15 assists and 10 digs against Cedar Crest before finishing with 26 assists and nine digs against Ursinus.

🏐 Adriana Ventura — Women's Volleyball
Ventura continued to anchor the back row, recording 11 digs against Cedar Crest and 13 digs against Ursinus, while adding three service aces across the two matches.

🧤 Mackenzie Schrack — Field Hockey
Schrack made 12 saves against Bryn Mawr, keeping the Mighty Macs within striking distance through the first half.

⚽ Carlos Garcia — Men's Soccer
Garcia scored his first goal of the season against Susquehanna, leveling the match at 1-1 in the second half.

🎾 Easton Ragno — Men's Tennis
Ragno opened the men's tennis season with a three-set singles victory over Eastern's Jared Groff, winning the deciding tiebreaker 10-7.

🎾 Sophia Carey — Women's Tennis
Carey opened the women's tennis season with a singles victory and teamed with Hailey Elwell for a 6-3 No. 1 doubles victory.

🎾 Ashley Batejan — Women's Tennis
Batejan earned a dominant 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 4 singles against Eastern.
 
MIGHTY MAC OF THE WEEK

⚽ Gracie Repici — Women's Soccer

Gracie Repici is this week's Mighty Mac of the Week after a standout two-game stretch that helped lead Immaculata Women's Soccer to a pair of victories! 

Repici recorded three goals and one assist for seven points across the two wins.

On Wednesday at Widener, Repici opened the scoring in the 17th minute, giving the Mighty Macs a lead they would never surrender in a 2-1 road victory. On Saturday at Cedar Crest, Repici continued her impressive week with two goals and an assist, helping Immaculata roll to a 7-2 victory. This was Repici's first career multiple-goal game.
