HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST WILKES
- The Mighty Macs battled early, keeping the opening set tight and trailing by just a few points late, but Wilkes used a strong service run to close out the frame. Immaculata recorded six kills in the set, with Josh McGurl leading the attack, but the Colonels capitalized on key errors to take a 1-0 lead.
- In the second set, Wilkes gained momentum behind an efficient offensive performance, hitting .200 as a team. Immaculata stayed within striking distance midway through the set, but the Colonels pulled away late once again, using consistent serving pressure to force the Macs out of system and claim a 25-18 win.
