HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST ARCADIA
- Immaculata settled in quickly and matched Arcadia point-for-point in the opening frame. The Mighty Macs defended aggressively and forced extended rallies, with Josh McGurl delivering key swings to keep things close late. Trailing 24–22, Immaculata earned one more opportunity before Arcadia narrowly escaped, 25–23.
- The second set followed a similar script. Immaculata weathered an early push and clawed back behind strong net play and steady setting from Luke Dortenzo. A late kill from Noah Zunski trimmed the deficit to two, but the Macs could not string together the final points they needed.
- The final set featured 10 ties and multiple momentum swings. With the score locked at 15–15, Arcadia used a service run to create separation. Immaculata did not fold, continuing to compete in every rally. Late kills by McGurl and Zunski were not enough to overcome the deficit as the host closed out the match, 25–21.
