MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • Alexis Andrada leads the Immaculata offense, entering Wednesday's game with eight goals and 17 points. The junior forward/midfielder scored Immaculata's lone goal at St. Mary's on Saturday. Andrada now ranks third in program history in career goals with 30 and points with 63.
  • Morgan Barnes is a key offensive contributor for the Mighty Macs, recording five goals and three assists for 13 points. The sophomore forward scored the opening goal against Cedar Crest and scored the overtime game-winner against Manhattanville.
  • Gigi Fox has added two goals and two assists this season. The junior forward scored against Cedar Crest, while contributing an assist during Immaculata's comeback victory over Manhattanville.
  • Maria Berenato has added two goals and one assist for Immaculata. The senior forward assisted on Andrada's goal at St. Mary's on Saturday and made key plays that led to goals in the victories over Cedar Crest and Manhattanville.
  • Maria Freeman has made valuable contributions on both sides of the field for the Mighty Macs, recording two goals and one assist offensively while also providing a strong defensive presence. The sophomore defender has eight shots, six of which have been on goal, and leads Immaculata with one defensive save. Her ability to contribute to the attacking third while helping protect the defensive circle makes her an important two-way player for Immaculata.
  • Mackenzie Schrack has been a key presence in goal for the Mighty Macs, recording 68 saves in 11 appearances. The sophomore goalkeeper has posted a .708 save percentage and a 2.89 goals-against average while helping Immaculata remain competitive in several close contests.
  • Immaculata continues to get strong play in the midfield from Alexa Marczak, Taylor Eagan, Olivia DiBona, and Sydney Saxton.
  • Immaculata will rely on defenders Freeman, Natalie Dodd, Bailee Neitz, and Kayla Ledbetter to help limit Wilson's College's opportunities.

SCOUTING WILSON COLLEGE
  • Wilson enters Wednesday's matchup at 5-6 overall and 3-1 in United East Conference play. The Phoenix have collected conference wins over Cedar Crest, Gwynedd Mercy, and Lancaster Bible, while their conference loss came against St. Mary's College of Maryland.
  • Wilson earned a 3-2 victory over Lancaster Bible in its most recent outing on October 17 and will look to carry that momentum into Wednesday's matchup. The Phoenix have also recorded conference victories by shutout against Cedar Crest and Gwynedd Mercy.
  • Kate Seymour leads the Phoenix with seven goals and 16 points in 11 games. She has taken a team-high 58 shots, putting 37 on goal, and has recorded three game-winning goals. Immaculata will need to limit her opportunities in the attacking third.
  • Ginnah Kendall contributed two goals and a team-high five assists for nine points. Her playmaking ability makes her an important facilitator in the Phoenix attack.
  • Erin Sullivan has started all 11 games in goal for Wilson, recording 76 saves with a .760 save percentage and a 2.34 goals-against average. She has recorded three shutouts and will be a key factor as the Phoenix look to contain Immaculata's leading scorers.
  • Wilson is 1-3 on the road this season.

UNITED EAST CONFERENCE PLAYOFF PICTURE
  • The United East Conference field hockey championship features the top six teams in the standings, with the tournament scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 27.
  • Wilson enters Wednesday in a good position at 3-1 in conference play. Immaculata, at 1-3, is looking to improve its standing with two regular-season conference games remaining.
  • A victory would move the Mighty Macs to 2-3 in conference play and give them an important result against one of the teams near the top of the standings. A loss would drop Immaculata to 1-4 and put additional pressure on its regular-season finale against Gwynedd Mercy.
  • While one win would secure a playoff spot for Immaculata. Wednesday's outcome will not necessarily determine Immaculata's postseason fate on its own. The final standings will also depend on the results of other conference matchups, including those involving Lancaster Bible, Gwynedd Mercy, and Cedar Crest. Immaculata will aim to control what it can by earning a conference victory at home.
