The Mighty Macs finish with a 6-11 record. They were 3-3 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST WILSON
  • Off a penalty corner, the Phoenix knocked in their first score of the afternoon over halfway through the first quarter. The Mighty Macs responded with the same sequence a few minutes later. Maria Freeman inserted a corner, to which Alexis Andrada got around the Wilson defense to tie the game. It was 1-1 after the first quarter.
  • The two sides battled in the second quarter. The Phoenix attempted a handful of shots, but Mackenzie Schrack tallied four saves in the frame. The score was still 1-1 at the break.
  • Right as the second half began, Andrada broke the draw and cashed in on an unassisted goal. The Mighty Macs' offense kept up its aggressiveness and was rewarded for a Morgan Barnes score. Not even a minute later, the Phoenix returned the favor. Although Andrada would see a penalty stroke, Wilson's goalie saved it. Immaculata led 3-2 after three.
  • Immaculata's defense was faced with a blitz from Wilson's offense. The Phoenix attempted eight shots in the quarter, and the final one resulted in a goal. The score was tied 3-3, forcing an overtime period.
  • Because Immaculata was assessed a green card at the end of the fourth quarter, the Mighty Macs began overtime with a woman down. Despite getting back to full strength 53 seconds into overtime, the Phoenix sent the game-winner in the cage. Wilson won 4-3.
