WHAT TO KNOW
- The Immaculata University field hockey team will open United East Conference play on Friday evening when the Mighty Macs travel to Penn State Harrisburg for a 5 p.m. contest.
- Immaculata (2-7) will look to bounce back from Wednesday night's defeat at Widener.
- Penn State Harrisburg enters Friday's contest with a 4-5 overall record after opening the season with four wins in its first six games.

NEW CONFERENCE ERA
- The 2026 season marks Immaculata's first as a United East field hockey affiliate. The Mighty Macs were previously members of the Atlantic East Conference from 2018-25 and will compete as an affiliate member of the United East for the 2026 season.
- The United East and Atlantic East established a field hockey partnership for the 2026 season, with Immaculata joining the United East field hockey schedule alongside Penn State Harrisburg, St. Mary's College of Maryland, Lancaster Bible, Cedar Crest, Wilson, and Gwynedd Mercy.
- The conference transition will continue beyond the 2026 field hockey season. Effective July 1, 2027, Immaculata University will become a full member of the United East Conference, with all Immaculata athletic teams joining the conference for the 2027-28 academic year.

- Friday's game will mark the first meeting between Immaculata and Penn State Harrisburg in field hockey.

MIGHTY MAC NOTES
- Alexis Andrada: The junior forward/midfielder enters Friday's contest following a three-goal stretch over Immaculata's last two games. Andrada scored twice at Arcadia before adding Immaculata's lone goal at Widener on Wednesday. She now has five goals and 10 points this season while ranking among the Mighty Macs' leaders in offensive production. Andrada's goal at Widener also gave her 56 career points, moving her into sole possession of fourth place in program history.
- Morgan Barnes: The sophomore forward has provided a consistent offensive presence for the Mighty Macs throughout the opening nine games. Barnes leads Immaculata with three goals and six points and has recorded three game-winning goals this season.
- Mackenzie Schrack: The sophomore goalkeeper has continued to anchor the Immaculata defense while facing a heavy workload. Schrack recorded 10 saves against Widener on Wednesday, including a save on a penalty stroke in the second quarter.
- Natalie Dodd: The senior forward has also contributed defensively for the Mighty Macs, recording a defensive save against Widener early in the fourth quarter.
- Maria Freeman: The sophomore midfielder provides an important two-way presence for the Mighty Macs. Freeman scored Immaculata's goal against Eastern earlier this season and recorded the assist on Andrada's game-winning goal in the season-opening victory over FDU-Florham. She currently has one goal, one assist, and three points on the season.
- Maria Berenato: The senior forward has contributed one of Immaculata's goals this season, scoring in the Mighty Macs' 3-2 setback against Marywood on September 12. Berenato has also been a regular presence in the Immaculata attack, recording four shots through the opening portion of the season.
- Gigi Fox: The junior midfielder/forward recorded her first goal of the season in Immaculata's 3-0 victory at King's on September 5. Fox has continued to provide an offensive option for the Mighty Macs and has four shots and four shots on goal this season.
- Kayla Ledbetter: The senior midfielder and team captain brings experience to the Immaculata midfield as the Mighty Macs begin their first United East campaign.

SCOUTING PENN STATE HARRISBURG
- Penn State Harrisburg was selected second in the 2026 United East Preseason Coaches' Poll after finishing 13-3 last season and advancing to the United East Championship Game.
- The Lions return five all-conference selections from a season ago, including first-team selections Sadie Cook, Macenzie Mulholland, and Sara Yeselavage, along with second-team selections Astrid Comp and Bailey Rucker.
- Sadie Cook: The junior forward returns as one of the Lions' top offensive threats. Cook earned First Team All-United East honors in 2025 after recording eight goals and eight assists. She scored twice in the opening nine games of the 2026 season, including the game-winning goal in Penn State Harrisburg's 1-0 victory over Saint Francis (Pa.).
- Astrid Comp: The junior midfielder/forward earned Second Team All-United East honors last season and has been an important offensive contributor again in 2026. Comp has scored three goals through the Lions' first nine games, including two goals during Penn State Harrisburg's three-goal victory at Goucher.
- Bailey Rucker: The senior midfielder was a Second Team All-United East selection last season and has recorded two goals through nine games in 2026. Rucker scored in the season-opening victory at Albright and again in Penn State Harrisburg's 3-2 overtime victory at Goucher.
- Macenzie Mulholland: The senior goalkeeper earned First Team All-United East honors in 2025 and has continued to provide a strong presence in goal. Mulholland has started six games this season, making 35 saves with a .854 save percentage while recording two shutouts.

Following Friday's United East opener, Immaculata will remain on the road Wednesday, October 7, when the Mighty Macs travel to Lancaster Bible College for a 4 p.m. conference matchup. Immaculata will then return home to Draper Walsh Stadium on Friday, October 9, to host Manhattanville University at 3 p.m.
