ST. DAVID'S, Pa.- Eastern University scored two goals in the first quarter, and two goals in the third quarter as they went on to defeat Immaculata 4-1, in a non-conference field hockey game on Tuesday.
Alexis Andrada scored the lone goal for the Mighty Macs.

With the loss Immaculata falls to 1-2 overall, and with their win Eastern improved to 1-1 for the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED VS EASTERN
- Eastern opened the scoring at the third minute of the game when an Eastern player deflected a long shot into the cage to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead.
- Eastern extended their lead to 2-0 with a goal in the tenth minute of the game.
- Eastern led 2-0 at halftime, holding a 12-1 advantage in shots.
- In the third quarter Immaculata cut the Eastern lead to 2-1, when Maria Freeman got around the end and passed the ball through the crease. The pass made its way to Alexis Andrada who deposited it in the cage for her third goal of the season. The assist was Maria Freeman's first collegiate point.
- Eastern responded with goals in the thirty-fourth and thirty-sixth minute to extend the lead to 4-1. The Eagles would make the lead stand as they took the game 4-1.
- Freshman goalkeeper Ella Miller made her college debut in the fourth quarter, making three saves on three shots faced.
- Goalkeeper Mackenzie Schrack made eight saves on 22 shots faced.
