Women's Soccer Falls to Lebanon Valley, 2-0

IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata Women's Soccer team battled a tough Lebanon Valley squad, falling 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium. Emily Guthier was outstanding in goal for Immaculata making 16 saves on 25 shots faced.
 
With the loss Immaculata falls to 1-1-1, while Lebanon Valley improves to 4-0 with their fourth shutout of the season.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED VS LEBANON VALLEY
  • Lebanon Valley opened the scoring in the 20th minute when Jayme Beninda scored to give the Flying Dutchmen a 1-0 lead.
  • Emily Guthier kept the score at 1-0 in the first half making 10 saves.
  • Lebanon Valley led 1-0 at halftime and held a 14-1 advantage in shots on goal.
