MADISON, N.J.- The Immaculata men's lacrosse team fell in overtime to Drew University on Friday night in their opening game of the Leanos Cup. Immaculata started the game with momentum, taking an early 4-1 lead ten minutes into play. Drew would draw the score closer before taking a late lead that the Mighty Macs evened, 8-8, before an overtime goal gave the Rangers the home win.
David Azzarano netted three goals including a pair of late heroic goals in the contest as he became Immaculata Men's Lacrosse's all-time career points leader. With the coinflip loss, Immaculata falls to 3-5 overall, as Drew improves to 4-2 on the season.
