  • The Immaculata women's basketball team (19-3, 9-0 AEC) is back in action on Tuesday when they host Marywood at Alumnae Hall for their regular season finale.

CHASING HISTORY
  • Immaculata's win at Centenary on Saturday was the Mighty Macs 19th win of the season, matching the most wins in a season for an Immaculata women's basketball team during their NCAA era, Immaculata joined the NCAA in 1982.
  • The 2010-11 team and the 2013-14 team coached by Patricia Canterino both finished 19-9. Immaculata Head Coach Brittany Whalen (Merkle) and Assistant Coach Adriana Sciascia were players on the 2013-14 team. Assistant Coach Chelsea Turgeon (McTigue) was a player on the 2010-11 team.
  • Immaculata is looking to become the first Immaculata women's basketball team to reach 20 wins in a season since the 1976-77 team coached by Naismith Hall of Fame Coach Cathy Rush went 26-6 advancing to the AIAW Final Four. Immaculata defeated Tennessee Tech and Mississippi College in the Tournament before losing to LSU in the National Semifinals 74-68 and lost the consolation game to Tennessee 91-71.
 
AROUND THE AEC
  • 2024-25 Atlantic East Women's Basketball season is entering the final week of the regular season play, and the Atlantic East Conference Tournament is set to open on Monday, February 24th.
  • Immaculata has clinched the AEC Regular Season Title will be the first seed. Marymount (6-3) is in second place, Neumann (4-4) is in third place, with two games to play this week. Centenary (3-5) and Marywood (3-5) currently share fourth and fifth place, and Gwynedd Mercy (1-7) is in sixth place.   The top three seeds will earn a first round bye and advance to the semifinals. The fourth seed will host the fifth seed in the First Round of the AEC Tournament.
