IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Immaculata men's and women's track & field teams launch their 2025–26 indoor campaign on Saturday when they travel to Reading, Pa., for the Alvernia Rust Buster. Action begins at 9:00 a.m. inside The Plex at Alvernia University, with live results available throughout the day.

MIGHTY MACS MEN'S NOTES
 
The Mighty Macs open the season with strong representation across sprints, mid-distance, distance, and throws:
 
SPRINTS & HURDLES

• 60m: Aaron Cuthbert, Kellan Albitz, and Jayden Barksdale make their season debuts.
• 60m Hurdles: Yerlin Ortiz begins his indoor hurdles campaign.
• 200m: Cuthbert, Albitz, and Barksdale double back in the 200m.

 
MID-DISTANCE & DISTANCE

• 400m: Ortiz returns for the open quarter mile.
• 800m: Christopher Watson, Connor Kakowski, Jimmy Lauer, and Ortiz form a deep middle-distance group.
• Mile: Jason Canterino and Kendall Budlow take on the season's first mile race.

 
FIELD EVENTS

• Shot Put & Weight Throw: Thomas Connolly and Colin Corkery compete in both throwing events, providing experience in the circle.

 
RELAYS

• DMR: Lauer, Alexander Wilson, Watson, and Kakowski aim to set a strong early-season mark.
• 4x400m: Two relay squads will compete—one featuring Cuthbert, Barksdale, Ortiz, and Watson; the other with Budlow, Lauer, and Canterino.

SPRINTS

• 60m: Brianna Caulwell, Abby Friend, and Nora Roe get the day started in the short sprint.
• 200m: Samantha Rivera, Jillian Humphries, Shannon Barycki, Caulwell, and Friend open their long-sprint seasons.
• 400m: Rivera, Barycki, Aubrey Bickford, and Roe step into the quarter mile.

 
MID-DISTANCE & DISTANCE

• 800m: Jacquie Leone, Jayla Gross, Kimberly Alvarez, and Maddy McBride lead the mid-distance effort.
• Mile: Molly Wasylenko and McBride return for the season's first mile.
• 5000m: Aubrey Donahue and Breanne Dymek take on the longest race of the day.

• High Jump: Humphries begins her high jump season.
• Pole Vault: Bickford and McBride will compete in the Pole Vault.
• Shot Put: Julianne Frederick, Maggie Friend, and Joanie Lauer open their seasons in the circle.
• Weight Throw: Friend and Lauer return for the weight throw as well.

 
Relays

• DMR: Gross, Alvarez, Leone, and Donahue team up for the first women's 4000-meter DMR of the season.
• 4x400m: Two squads will compete—Friend, Bickford, Humphries, and Rivera on one; Wasylenko, McBride, Alvarez, and Leone on the other.
