HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST ELIZABETHTOWN
  • The early portion of the game was contested by both sides, with Elizabethtown taking an 8-4 lead. Dylan Crews converted a three-pointer moments later on a Jayden Williams assist. The Mighty Macs continued to chip away at the deficit until a Duce Jackson fastbreak jumper gave them a 32-30 advantage. The Blue Jays used six straight points to reclaim the upper hand, but Williams answered seconds later. Despite this, the Blue Jays were up 36-34 going into the locker room.
  • Elizabethtown scored the first 10 points of the second half to distance themselves from Immaculata. The Mighty Macs countered with an 8-0 run of their own, courtesy of Domenic Vacchiano, Crews, and Jackson. As the game neared the end of regulation, Elizabethtown's offense kept connecting on shots, to which Immaculata had no responses. The final score was 88-71.
