Immaculata Dominates Fourth Quarter in 77–55 Win at Alvernia

READING, Pa.- A dominant fourth quarter propelled the Immaculata women's basketball team to a 77–55 road victory over Alvernia on Monday night. The Mighty Macs outscored the Golden Wolves 23–4 in the final period, fueled by Olivia Ettorre's career-high 22 points, 11 of which came in the closing quarter.
 
Carly Coleman added her third consecutive double-double, finishing with 20 points and 13 rebounds to anchor Immaculata on both ends of the floor.
 
With the win, Immaculata moves to 4–2 on the season, while Alvernia drops to 3–3.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED VS ALVERNIA
  • Alvernia opened the game on a 4–0 run as Immaculata went scoreless for the first four minutes.
  • Olivia Ettorre broke the drought with a driving layup to put the Mighty Macs on the board.
  • Sabrina Little followed with a steal and a layup, helping Immaculata take a 13–10 lead with 2:07 left in the first quarter.
  • Ettorre added a late jumper, and Immaculata ended the quarter ahead 17–16.
